Digital Art Commission TOS (Terms of Service):

General:

  • I am allowed to include the purchased artwork in my portfolio (on my website gaebugs.com) and I am allowed to post the artwork to social media, unless requested otherwise. The request to remove permission for me to post the artwork on my social media must be discussed with me prior to payment and starting the process.
  • I do not support the use of and will not use AI for any of my creations. Don't bother asking.
  • I own all the rights to my work. Putting my artwork into an A/I engine is prohibited. If you use my art for AI training, I will sue you, find you, and taze you (ง •̀_•́)ง
  • All artworks are for personal use only. Do not resell my artwork(s). The delivered artwork may not be used for profit but can be used for profile pictures/banners. If you have any questions about what counts as personal use send me an email or DM on instagram. Please contact me via email for commercial works as there will be additional fees for commercial rights.
  • I have every right to decline a commission if I feel that my skill level or style will not meet the request, if the price tier paid for does not cover the requested art, or if the request falls under subjects I am not comfortable with.
  • Please provide visual references for requests to draw real life people or animals (e.g. a photo of your friend or pet). If no visual reference is provided the commission may be declined.
  • If the commission is required to be completed by a specific date and time this must be discussed with and confirmed by me before the work commences. Rush orders may incur additional fees via invoice but I will do my best to facilitate your requests for free if my schedule allows. The expected wait time will be dependent on the details of the commission.
  • Reposting and sharing the artwork is OK, but please give credit @gaebugs
  • Revisions may incur additional fees and delays to completion of the artwork.

Payment:

  • Payment is generally via Stripe invoice card payment for quoted/custom prices or by paying for the pre-determined Stripe payment options on the Commissions page. The options on the commissions page pay for 100% of the commission. If it is a quoted or custom commission, following acceptance, I will send you an invoice. In this case, a deposit of 50% (NON-REFUNDABLE) must be paid before I start working. Once the sketch is approved, the remaining balance must be paid in full before I continue working and finish up your request. For some commissions, the payment option may vary (i.e. via PayPal) and the amount paid up front (i.e. 100%), this is at the discretion of the artist.
  • If for any reason you need to cancel your commission after paying the 50% deposit but BEFORE the sketch has been approved, I can give a partial refund (I will keep a minimum 25% of the total deposit cost).
  • Any aggressive, rude or inappropriate behaviour will result in me cancelling the commission. I will give a partial refund but I will keep 50% of the total payment.
  • In the rare event I feel I need to cancel the commission, and cannot complete the work, for any reasons out of mine, and the customers control, I will provide a full refund.

Process:

  • If you have paid for one of the price tiers on the Commissions page, fill out the commission form. If you're on a budget, please fill out the commission request form and let me know what you can pay, describe what you would like and I can see if I can do that for you or discuss the level of detail I can provide for that price (referred to as “custom price” above). If you have a commission request which is outside of the options available and are not sure what price, fill out the commission request form and I can provide you with a quote (referred to as “quoted price” above). The commission request form shall be filled out before the artwork process can commence. The details of the commission shall not be sent in any other format than the commission request form, although discussion via email or instagram Dms (@gaebugs) may be necessary if I have any questions.
  • Upon starting, I will send progress images of the sketch (and flat colour if necessary) for your review to approve or make revisions before I proceed to finish the artwork. Once I receive confirmation of the sketch, refunds may not be requested after this point, unless issued by me.
  • Once I am finished, I will send the final watermarked image of the artwork, for you to review. Three minor revisions may be requested. More than three will incur an additional fee that must be paid in full (via Stripe invoice that I will send) before I proceed to make adjustments.
  • Once the finalised artwork is accepted I will email you full resolution .png files of the work (with the watermark removed), and watermarked .jpgs for social media posting (unless agreed otherwise). No physical product will be delivered.

By commissioning me or purchasing an item, this means you have properly read, understood and AGREE to the terms listed above and on the invoice (if invoicing is applicable to your purchase).

Physical Products TOS (Terms of Service):

General:

  • Custom items can be requested and will be paid for via stripe invoicing. Send a message to gaebugsgiftshop@gmail.com or my social media to request this.
  • The materials used for each physical product shall be listed on the Depop or Vinted page as linked on the shop. This can be referenced to check for allergens, however as items such as thrifted clothing may not have labels included, information on clothing fabric and other materials may not be available. Any physical reaction to these materials is not the fault of the seller, if unsure, don't buy or ask and I will do my best to find out for you.
  • Physical pre-made products such as shirts, traditional art, stickers, cards, shall be purchased through Depop or Vinted as linked in the shop page. If there is an issue with the item delivered, please send me a message before raising a dispute on Depop or Vinted and I can help you find a resolution. Any general issues, returns, refunds or shipping problem shall be disputed through Depop or Vinted (depending which you used to purchase the item).
  • If you have any queries about a specific item, send a message on Depop or Vinted and reference that item. This is likely to yield a faster response, however queries can also be sent to gaebugsgiftshop@gmail.com or any of my social media (although there is a reduced probability of reply in a timely manner).

Shipping:

  • Evri shipping through Depop in the UK typically takes 2 to 4 business days to arrive after the seller drops off the parcel. Vinted orders usually arrive in 2 to 8 working days after dispatch depending on the shipping option selected. These are only estimates based on prior purchases and are not guaranteed. If pre-made, I will typically dispatch the item(s) between 1-3 days but this is not guaranteed. Custom orders will include an additional time to make the order which will be discussed and confirmed before purchase. Rushed orders may be requested but will be completed at the discretion of the crafter. Send a message on Depop, Vinted, or send an email to gaebugsgiftshop@gmail.com to request this before buying. This will likely require a different shipping method than those available on Depop or Vinted, so discuss the payment and shipping method with the artist before making a purchase or the rushed order cannot be guaranteed by your desired date.
  • Shipping outside of the UK must be requested, discussed and confirmed with me prior to purchase.
